It's time for our annual evening of baseball with seating on the on the Picnic Patio! Nittany Lions of all ages are welcome. Wear your Penn State attire.
Ballpark favorites including hotdogs, hamburgers, BBQ Pulled Turkey, salads, soft drinks and dessert are included.
Cost per person:
Penn State Alumni Association Members: $32.00
Non PSAA members: $37.00

Lehigh Valley Area Alumni and Local Student Sendoff Picnic
July 19, 2026 at 1 p.m.
Planning is underway for our beloved Penn State tradition, the annual Alumni Picnic and Student Send Off.
We are hoping to see several generations of Penn Staters on:
July 19th, 1PM at Canal Park (Lehigh County).
Did you know that alumni groups across the country gather for food, fun and fellowship every summer?
Traditionally, the Lehigh Valley Chapter has Blue Band music, raffles, yard games, plenty of food, an update from our Chapter President and the award of a $500 book scholarship to one lucky Lehigh Valley student attending ANY of the Penn State University campuses, complements of the Lehigh Valley Chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association.
This year we are looking for volunteers to help with:

As we've done in the past, hamburgers, veggie burgers, hot dogs
and all of the "fixins" will be paid for with our allocation from the Penn State Alumni Association.
Guests with last names ending with the letter A-L are to bring DESSERT
Guests with last names ending with the letter M-Z are to bring a SIDE DISH.
Bottled water will be provided. Please feel free to bring your own beverage (alcoholic or non-alcoholic).
Please let us know that you will be joining in the fun! REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED in order to provide enough food for all guests!
