Iron Pigs Charities-Concession Work for Scholarship Fund
A few hours, a big difference!
NEXT OPPORTUNITY to serve is 8/11/26.
We still need a few more volunteers.
NOW is your chance. Register below for the August 11th Iron Pigs Charities fundraising event for our scholarship fund.
Please help the LVCPSAA raise money for our scholarship fund by working at the Iron Pigs food and beverage concession stands for a home game on August 11th @ 6:45pm.
Each volunteer will be credited $12.00/Hour for work that evening, which will then go directly into our scholarship fund.
Where: Coca-Cola Park, 105 Iron Pigs Way, Allentown, PA 18109
Need: 15 Volunteers
Report Time: 2 hours prior to game time (4:30pm-4:45pm); We'll need you to sign a Volunteer Agreement.
Parking: You can let the parking attendants know you are LVCPSAA volunteers with Food & Beverage and they will direct you where to park. As a volunteer, you will not be charged for parking. Normal Parking for Staff and Volunteers will be the Lower lot behind Career Link. Please to not park on the upper lots by the stadium. They are reserved for preferred parking passes and handicap spaces.
Entering Stadium/Check in: Enter the stadium through the West Gate. If there is an usher or front office person at the gate, you can let them know that you are volunteering with the Food and Beverage department. Iron Pigs personnel will check you in the Bru Daddy Beer Garden (between Home Plate Grill and the Pizza Stand) and give you your assignment.
Dress Code: Everyone can wear a shirt or something representing our group--Penn State shirt or apron. If you do not have a Penn State shirt, any IronPigs, plain white, or navy-blue shirt will be acceptable, but be aware that it may get dirty while handling food. Iron Pigs will provide a baseball hat that must be worn throughout the shift as a hair restraint while handling food. It is a health code requirement that everyone working with food and beverage must wear a hair restraint. Even with a hat, long hair must be tied back off the shoulders.
SHOES: Everyone will be standing for approximately 4-5 hours and should wear comfortable closed toed shoes (No crocs or sandals). Comfortable, sturdy, non-skid closed toe shoes are recommended. Appropriate sneakers are acceptable. NO SANDALS, NO HIGH HEELS, or OPEN TOE SHOES.
